Full Time Sales Associate

Sales Associates play the most important role in our organization, they are the advantage that we have over our competition. We rely on our staff for the knowledge, passion, and perspective that each individual brings to make our store unique. If you have a background in outdoor sports, and you would like to build your future in the outdoor industry, please introduce yourself to us.

We are looking for candidates with a background or interest in Skiing, Snowboarding, Hiking/Camping, Rock Climbing, Running, and Cycling/Mountain Biking. We place people in positions based on their strengths and aspirations. Each department will have slightly different operational roles, but most importantly we will be paying you to learn as much as possible about the products and services that we sell. You will be expected to communicate your knowledge to our customers while answering any questions that they may have. There are secondary responsibilities that include handling operational tasks such as receiving goods from manufacturers, moving stock between locations, inventory counts, etcetera.  

Requirements:
-Enthusiastic, well spoken, and outgoing.
-Strong work ethic. We work hard, some days are long, and overtime is abundant.
-Team Oriented. We work as a team, and that means helping on projects outside of your normal responsibilities.
-A passion for the outdoors. You will be really bored here if you aren't excited about what we sell, and we can't have that.
-Able to work weekends. In Retail, weekends are the big show, we'll need all hands on deck.

Extra Credit:
-Previous outdoor retail experience.
-Running shop experience.
-Footwear fitting experience (Phil Oren Fitsystem, Footwear Guru, etc).
-Ski workshop experience.
-A photo album full of incredible outdoor adventures.
